Meet the team
Stacey
Practice Manager
Stacey is a Cert IV RVN with over ten years of veterinary nursing experience in a number of areas. She was with the clinic seven years ago when it was establishing and has returned as Practise Manager.
She has a special interest in canine reproduction and behaviour. She enjoys keeping up to date with learning and improving veterinary nursing to provide the best care for our patients. She is enthusiastic about imparting this knowledge on to her fellow nurses to empower them to be the best they can be.
She shares her home with her husband, two young children, Tibetan mastiffs and cats.
Dr Amanda Pettett-Willmett
Head Veterinarian
Originally from Far North QLD, Amanda graduated from James Cook University in Townsville in 2014. For 3yrs after graduation she got to experience the true James Harriet lifestyle in a rural farming vet clinic in NSW, treating all animals great and small. For the past year she has been thoroughly enjoying working in small animal practice with plenty of dogs, cats and exotics. Her interests include canine physiotherapy and rehabilitation and canine behaviour. Amanda owns a small Noah's ark herself including 2 horses, 4 dogs, 3 rabbits and 1 python. She regularly competes in Canine Agility and Obedience with all her dogs including her 3-legged rescue Kelpie, Texas
Krystal
Veterinary Nurse Manager
Krystal started her veterinary nursing in 2007 at a wildlife sanctuary before moving into clinical practice in 2010. In 2022, Krystal was awarded AVNAT Registered Nurse which is a program that sets standards of professional practice across the vet nursing industry.
Krystal has volunteered in Africa at an animal rescue centre specifically for Primates and worked for Zoos Victoria during their bush fire season. Krystal has a passion for dealing with critical patients, exotic and wildlife medicine and specialised nursing and surgical procedures. Outside of the clinic, Krystal's passions are aviculture, basketball and working on her small hobby farm.
Dani
Veterinary Nurse
Dani is a fully qualified veterinary nurse who comes to us with years of experience in both general practice and emergency and critical care nursing. Dani has a passion for learning new tricks to ensure your pets are receiving the highest standards of care. She is both an Accredited Veterinary Nurse and a Registered Veterinary Nurse meaning Dani has accomplished and is held to the highest possible standards within the veterinary industry.
Dani is passionate about training nursing students and is currently completing her Certificate IV in Training & Assessment, whilst working with students in clinic and mentoring them through their studies. She shares her home with her husband and two cats, Charlie the ginger fireball and Theodore, the cat with attitude.
April
Veterinary Nurse
April has always had a passion for the animal industry and it was this passion that drove her to complete Certificates in Animal Studies and gain her Veterinary Nurse qualification in 2022. April is a registered nurse and has a keen interest in exotics and is always seeking out new challenges and refining her skills to keep her knowledge current.
Outside of clinic life, April lives a chill life playing games, shopping and taking care of her wild kitten Wybie and three green tree frogs Gribble, Gumpy and Murphy.
